Two London agencies put faith in High Street with new branch openings

As London plays catch-up with the buoyant housing market seen in the rest of the country, two agencies have announced new branches in the capital.

JOHNS&CO, established in 2013 by John Morley, has opened its eighth office, in Brentford, west London. The location is evidence, the firm says, of its determination to broaden its scope beyond its traditional East London and Canary Wharf roots.

Clynton Nel, residential director at the agency, adds: “This is an exciting moment for JOHNS&CO as we continue on our mission to expand across London. We’ve grown significantly in the last few years and have expanded far beyond our roots as specialist agents in residential development in East London and Canary Wharf.

“Following a challenging year for all, we are pleased to be in a position to expand and offer exciting employment opportunities as a result and we look forward to continuing this momentum in the months and years to come.”

The office opens today and is offering a zero per cent commission offer to the first 150 people to instruct the branch.

And the Adam Hayes estate agency is opening its third office in the north of the capital, to handle sales and rentals in Finchley, Golders Green, Hendon and Mill Hill.

Residential sales director Yasser Elkaffass comments: “Adam Hayes expansion into Finchley Central is part of the strategic growth of the business. With offices in North Finchley and East Finchley, our new office will cement our position as being the leading independent estate agent in the area”.

The agency was established in 2009 by Elkaffass and Amir Haddadi before opening the second office in 2015; it specialises in properties up to £1.5m and also has a large management portfolio.
