One of the earliest London agencies to adopt a hub-style operation with self-employed agents working on a high commission basis, has announced an expansion.
Harding Green was set up to cover just the prime central London market back in late summer 2017. It was the brainchild of Nick Carter, a former Chestertons agent.
Now the company - which handles sales, lettings and buying services - lists 17 directors, consultants or client service representatives and has announced its expansion into the Maida Vale, Earlsfield and Henley-on-Thames areas.
It’s latest recruit is Hugo Headlam, a veteran London agent who over 18 years ran the John D Wood offices in Wandsworth and Belgravia.
Harding Green says it’s now on the look out for more self-employed agents who want to operate its model, which has commission structures ranging from 60 or 70 per cent, and extending to 80 per cent after an agent has transacted over £120,000 in fees.
The company’s hub operation provides centralised anti-money laundering compliance, administration, phone answering, marketing, social media and other support services.
A consultant working with Harding Green is well known London estate agent Patricia Farley, who has enjoyed a long property career over 40 years working at her family’s Farley & Co agency as well as at Humberts and Chestertons.
