Marc has previously held positions at Hamptons International and Dexters and says: “Having been part of its growth over the past six months, I have hugely enjoyed working with the exceptional central London sales team that works tirelessly to deliver the best possible results for our clients."
"I look forward to sharing this experience in my new role.”
Another ex-Hamptons figure, Boutaina Cansick, is the new head of lettings at JOHNS&CO.
“JOHNS&CO has always stood out to me as an agency that is doing things differently and I’ve always been impressed by both the quality of the team as well as the calibre of properties they represent."
"I am excited to be joining in what is set to be a year of significant growth” she says.
Again in the capital, Savills has appointed Laura Wilcox-Chandley as head of sales in the Westminster office.
She’s worked in London for 20 years having spent 10 years heading Marsh and Parsons South Kensington and Chelsea offices, after seven years at a Mayfair firm.
“Westminster is a brilliant area both to live in and for investment. I am looking forward to achieving the highest possible prices for our clients whilst providing exceptional customer service” she says.
Right - that’s London dealt with… now to Gainsborough where Bill and Geraldine Miller are retiring following a successful EweMove career. They were among the first 14 people to join the hybrid agency in March 2013.
Bill says: “We have decided to look for an associate who will come in, work with us for a few months and then buy the business from us. It’s an excellent business backed by a PLC and a great support team at EweMove. My advice to anyone joining is simple. Follow the plan because it works if you do.”
Now to Lincoln where Fine & Country has welcomed Luke Hammond to its local team - he’s most recently worked at Humberts.
"I’ve spent most of my career working in the historic city so it’s going to be great to share my knowledge of the area as new people look to make their homes here” he comments.
Leeds is our next stop, where property investment company ERE Property has made a major new appointment to its lettings division with business development manager Kristian McClory.
Kristian, an experienced lettings professional, says: “The buy to let market is strong and it’s great to join a company that is committed to excellence."
"It brings sound investments to investors and a superior management and lettings service to landlords and tenants.”
On to buying agency Property Vision, which has named Marcus Gondolo-Gordon as country team executive, advising clients on their property investments, predominantly in Kent and East and West Sussex.
He was formerly head of International for UK Sotheby’s International Realty in Belgravia and also worked in the national country house department at BNP Paribas Strutt & Parker. Before joining Property Vision, Marcus ran his own property agency in West Sussex.
Another buying agency - Black Brick - has welcomed Hamish Bruce to the team. Hamish has worked for the past seven years at Marsh and Parsons and has sold in excess of £100m of property.
Unusually, he at one time lived in South Africa and set up a successful Chinese food delivery business as well as a charity events company, specialising in White Collar Boxing.
That’s it for this week - do please keep in touch with your jobs news and we’ll be back later in March. Until then…
