Eyes peeled! EAT set to launch state of the property nation survey

On Monday next week, Estate Agent Today will launch its state of the property nation survey, a 14-question poll for UK estate and letting agents designed to gain insight into the most pressing issues facing the market now and in the future.

Will Boomin succeed? Will Rightmove still be top dog at the end of the decade? Will virtual viewings now be in every agent’s armoury? Will high street offices soon be a thing of the past?

It is answers to these questions, and many more, that we will be seeking to discover with our nationwide survey, aimed at anyone involved in the agency industry, whether you’re a junior negotiator or an agency owner with many years of experience.

We are looking for insight into trade body membership, regulation, the perception of estate agents and whether Big Tech will be getting its paws into estate agency in the UK anytime soon. We also want to know whether agents will ever act for both buyers and sellers, as is the case in other countries around the world.

The survey is designed to give estate agency professionals a better understanding and insight into the market they work in – from the size of the average agency to the model most frequently used, and whether the fast-growing self-employed sector is having significant cut-through.

We will be publicising the survey in the Breaking News section of this very site on Monday, and you will also be able to find the survey through our various social media channels. Meanwhile, if you’re a subscriber, keep a close eye on your inbox as you’ll be receiving an email with a link to the survey there, too.

Many thanks in advance for your participation!
