Maidstone Hospital: The Riverbank children’s unit at Maidstone Hospital has recently taken delivery of a shipment of gifts from Kings Hill-based SearchFlow.
SearchFlow had a surplus of branded goodies that it wanted to rehome, following a recent rebrand. This included soft cuddly owls, as well as notebooks, pens, lip balms, eco-reusable cups, highlighter pens, sticky notepads and jute bags.
Alongside the branded goodies, the company also created a hamper for staff containing chocolates, hand creams and lip balms.
Eunice Goto, paediatric unit manager at the Riverbank children’s unit at Maidstone Hospital says: “The goodies brought a smile to everyone’s faces and are very much welcomed and appreciated. The owl soft toys will give children a real boost following procedures and as a distraction for them to then take away when going home. Thank you so much for reaching out and thinking of us; we are all very grateful.”
Key Worker Accommodation: Flat-sharing PropTech site ideal flatmate is discounting properties for key workers.
This is happening at East Village, the former Olympic village in Stratford which has been developed into rental flats and allows those working in sectors such as the health service, education and other key public services to move into flats and below market rates.
For anybody in these professions who need to find a flatmate to live with, ideal flatmate will provide their matching technology for free to help key workers find compatible people to share with.
The platform is working in collaboration with Get Living to offer a range of flats at a discount to help those that have helped keep the country safe and moving throughout the pandemic.
