Popular agency websites supplier wins international PropTech funding

Agency websites supplier Property Webmasters has secured a substantial but undisclosed cash injection to expand internationally.

The investment comes from Net Ventures and follows Property Webmasters’ recent deals to supply software development and digital marketing to agencies including Christies, Coldwell Banker, Sotheby’s and Century21.

Property Webmasters says it’s seen growing demand for websites and marketing from agents worldwide, and the supplier is developing a new ‘website as a service’ product which it hopes to launch soon with the support of the Net Ventures team.

Jamie Arthur, Property Webmasters’ founder and chief executive, says: “We've put a lot of hard work into Property Webmasters over the years and the team have been fantastic throughout, so I'd like them to be recognised for their part in this.

“The hard work starts now as we roll out our ‘website as a service’ product offerings and focus on further strengthening our team. This really is just the beginning.”

Arthur is the man behind Propano, a portal which launched four months ago operating a revenue-share model for agents; it’s free to list and majors in overseas properties.

Meanwhile Net Ventures already has an extensive portfolio consisting of 16 companies across 12 markets, operating online property and automotive businesses in emerging markets.
