Boomin pledges ‘highly memorable’ TV ads as launch date nears

Boomin, created by Michael and Kenny Bruce, promises “highly memorable and engaging” TV and radio ads at its launch in the near future.

The portal delayed its launch, originally scheduled for December, until early in 2021. The latest statement from the company still fails to name a date.

Phil Lloyd, chief marketing officer at Boomin, says: “We have brought together more than 12 months of comprehensive national research, planning and creativity to produce an extensive campaign with genuine freshness and excitement.”

He continues: “Our highly experienced marketing team have had the pleasure of working with the very best marketing agencies in the UK to collectively bring our brand to life.

“We are excited to provide our founder agents with advertising, across a range of channels from live TV through to social and beyond, which will deliver for them new business opportunities and additional revenue streams.”

Boomin has named a further 10 independent regional agencies as founder members.

They are Fenn Wright, Killens, Watt & Morgan, Hern & Crabtree, Park Row, Butler & Stag Tatlers, Ellisons, Black Katz and Brian Cox.

Executive chairman and founder Michael Bruce says: “The time to secure founder agent status and the benefits that brings is fast running out as we enter the final stages of preparation for launch.

“I am delighted that over 50 per cent of the top 100 agents in the country have already committed to Boomin and we are in advanced discussions with many more.”

And he states: “Boomin is the best hope to bring meaningful competition and real change to a market whose pricing is increasingly becoming financially unviable for the many and whose technology is outdated for all. With the onboarding process starting as we enter the final stages ahead of the consumer launch, I urge all agents to embrace a brighter future together.”

Still no date. Interesting. I wonder what they are waiting for?

Is the OTM merger talk more than just tittle-tattle? That company knows how to make bad and good videos - the 'OnTheMarket' effort to the tune of Chas & Dave was woeful, but it has done better ones in the past. Maybe they could be in charge of marketing in the new Boomin OTM tie-up.

Nowhere near enough traction to get to where they want this to go. Best is third place, forget No.1.

Don't understand all this rubbish it will never take off they don't have the numbers. OTM won't have anything to do with them in the same as the majority of agents.
