Brexit changes keep Fine & Country branches busy in 2021

Fine & Country says it’s celebrating the launch of offices in 12 new locations across Spain this year.

The brand says that in the aftermath of Brexit there have been many significant changes to the moving process when going overseas.

However Spain continues to be the most popular European destination for British families and retirees with over 300,000 British citizens living in the country.

According to UN data, this equates to 23 per cent of all the ex-pat Brits living across Europe being concentrated in Spain.

Many of Fine & Country’s locations claim to have seen rapid growth over the course of the last year after the effects of both Brexit and the pandemic.

Chris Hara, managing director at Fine & Country Costa Blanca North, says: “The demand for property in our region this year is phenomenal with enquiries from all over Europe and beyond, especially within the past six months. The continued increase of clients buying property here has resulted in our best year so far for sales.”

There are over 650 available properties on Fine & Country’s international website currently.

Nikki Wilson, the brand’s business development manager in Spain, adds: “We are expecting to see sales sky-rocket in the New Year as lockdowns hopefully begin to ease off towards spring and into the summer. Buyers are flocking to Spain to enjoy the lifestyle we have to offer here, and the numbers speak for themselves.“
