The Good Estate Agent, set up in 2010, is slashing its franchise fee - it claims the reductions are for Black Friday and next week’s Cyber Monday retail events.
Instead of franchises being £10,000 upwards, founder Rob Bryer says he simply wants prospective franchisees to make him an offer.
“With our three founding franchisees now maturing and renewing their five year contracts The Good Estate Agent franchise is ready to take things to the next level with a target of 100 new franchisees in 2022. Now is the perfect time to reserve your territory and get up and running in January” says a statement from the company.
Franchise owners keep 80 per cent of sales and lettings fees, and 75 per cent of the property management fee - although property management activities continue to be handled by head office and not franchise owners themselves.
Fees are set by the individual franchise owner so they can be competitive within the area they own without restriction; franchise owners can also earn from recruiting their own team, receiving a percentage of the commission from sales and lettings.
“We truly believe we are the best hybrid franchise offering available and the only franchise to offer you an 18 month success guarantee” claims the agency.
Franchisees get ongoing training and support, access to an online property management and applicant management system, administrative support, call handling, a website and advertising.
Bryer says the offer lasts until November 30 and more details can be found via emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
