Famous Foxtons veteran rejoins the agency after 16 years

Foxtons has this morning announced that former managing director Peter Rollings is rejoining the agency 16 years after his departure.

Rollings was at Foxtons between 1997 and 2005 - when the company became known for its high profile and aggressive approach to sales and rentals.

He then became chief executive of London agency Marsh and Parsons from 2005 to 2016.

Now he’s back at Foxtons as a Non-Executive Director with effect from December 1.

Rollings will be a member of the Audit Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Committee from the date of his appointment.

Nigel Rich, Chairman of Foxtons, says: “Peter's career began at Foxtons in December 1985 and during his 20-year tenure he made a significant contribution to both the growth and dynamics of the business.

“He then enjoyed a successful career at Marsh & Parsons where he presided over significant expansion and value creation as CEO. He knows both Foxtons and the industry extremely well, making him an important and valuable addition to the Board as we look to accelerate growth.

“My colleagues and I are delighted that Peter is re-joining Foxtons and look forward to working with him."

And Rollings himself says: “I am delighted to be re-joining Foxtons, a business which gave me my first opportunity in estate agency and where I worked in the formative years of my career.

“It is an exciting time in the industry and Foxtons, with its powerful brand and strong service culture, is well placed for success. I look forward to playing a role in its growth and development."
