Business boost for EweMove, Martin & Co and other TPFG brands

The Property Franchise Group, the agency industry’s largest franchise operation, has reported strong performance in recent months.

Chief executive Gareth Samples has told shareholders: "I am delighted to report that after announcing record results at the half year, we have continued to trade strongly. Whilst the market would benefit from increased stock of properties to let or sell, we have continued to achieve significant transactional activity.

“Most notably our sales agreed pipelines continue to be replenished, even after the three peak months for residential property completions this year. Beyond the buoyant market we are pleased to see our strategic initiatives delivering and are confident they will continue to drive growth going forward.”

TPFG includes CJ Hole, Ellis & Co, EweMove, Hunters, Martin & Co, Parkers and Whitegates.

The group’s sales pipeline stood at £28.2m on September 30, notwithstanding the supply drought: this is only slightly down from the late June figure of £29.5m and the late March total of £31.0m.

TPFG’s rental network shows 73,000 rental properties now under management compared with 58,000 a year ago - much of this is down to the addition of the Hunters brand to the TPFG stable.

So far this year EweMove has sold 46 new territories (a year ago it had sole only six) and it now has 161 territories under contract as of 30 September 2021 (2020: 116).

TPFG group revenue increased this year is 126 per cent higher than in 2020 at £17.9m; Management Service Fees are up 72 per cent.
