PropTech Today: New features suggest move into CRM space for Lifesycle

New information has come to light which suggests that a leading marketing platform may be planning to step into the CRM space.

Iceberg Digital's Lifesycle could soon be offering agents new ways of registering buyers and tenants, as well as getting contracts signed by vendors and landlords.

The expected new features of Lifesycle - which were posted on the Iceberg Digital website but have since been removed - focus on improving efficiency and utilising social media to market properties.

Below is a more detailed outlined of some of the new features:

1. Allowing buyers and tenants to register straight into a system from anywhere on the web

Agents could provide walk-in applicants with an iPad to fill in their details or create a registration bar in their office. If the applicant does not have time to fill in their full details, agents can use Lifesycle to send them an email or SMS so they can complete the process when they are ready.

2. Electronic contracts to be built inside the Lifesycle system

This means no third-party application would be required for agents to send and keep track of outstanding contracts, with the aim of allowing them to get properties to market faster.

3. Pre-launching properties to social media

It is expected that Lifesycle will create pre-launch landing pages for properties and then use its advanced tracking functionality to allow agents to see who is looking at properties before they have been launched on the portals.

4. Linking buyer and tenant audiences up to Facebook ads manager

This feature would allow agents to put the right properties in front of the right audience, while also giving them the opportunity to create 'lookalike audiences' to attract new consumers.

It’s expected that pricing for existing Lifesycle users looking to benefit from the new features will stay the same, which could indicate an increase for new customers.

Mark Burgess, CEO of Iceberg Digital, is yet to confirm the above, but tells Estate Agent Today that new features will be announced 'when the time is right'.
