A new website aims to be the go-to service for agents who want reviews to help them assess the usefulness of new PropTech offerings.
The site - PropTechreviews - currently lists over 100 products with each having a short description and an opportunity for customers to leave an opinion.
Every customer review is moderated with users asked to provide an invoice and/or order number or other proof of purchase before the review is published.
“We know how important trust is. We’ll be manually checking every review submitted, helping to ensure it’s a fair representation of the PropTech offering and it’s from a genuine customer” explains marketing expert Paul James, the creator of the site who also founded consumer advice service Property Road.
“The difficult part with such a website is always getting people involved from the start. We have over 100 PropTech companies listed but we’re now calling on agents to leave reviews and suggest other PropTech offerings we may not yet have added.”
He continues: “We saw just how difficult it was for new PropTech to stand out and communicate their offering clearly. Estate agents are constantly being bombarded with different solutions and it’s becoming increasingly difficult for them to find the products and services that fit their business.”
Agents can search the site to see if the tech they use is listed, and if so leave a review if they wish: if a product is missing, they can submit a form to the site to suggest it be listed.
