London-based hub agency triples in size during lockdown

A London agency says it’s seen over 30 new agents join its hub franchise operation during the lockdown, taking the total to 50 - that’s three times the size it was early this year.

Benjamin Stevens Estate Agency, based in north west London, launched in 2018 and has what it calls Partner Agents who work from home and can, if they wish, use the company’s central premises. Either way, the partners use the company’s centralised marketing, operating, admin and training services.

“We aim to attract the best Negotiators who don’t have the capital to go it alone, and give them the opportunity to build something that gives them flexibility” says director Steven Wayne.

“We are looking to give people the opportunity to build their own business within our brand. They will have the opportunity to be a business partner and go 50:50 on earnings.”

The company says the choice for agents to work from home or a serviced office “allows them flexibility, a better work life balance, and the freedom to focus on the local areas they know best. It increases levels of customer service as agents must go to the clients rather than the other way around.”

Although its hub operation is relatively new, Benjamin Stevens Estate Agents was launched back in 2004; it still has two traditional High Street branches in Edgware and Bushey.

Partner agents operate across London and in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Surrey and Birmingham.
