The ESTAS Group says it will combine its awards events for agents, conveyancers and mortgage brokers in one ceremony in May of next year.
This will incorporate the delayed ESTAS Conveyancer Awards that were due to happen on October 23 this year; the event is now off because of Coronavirus.
“Recent events have really put the relationship between agents, conveyancers and brokers under the microscope. It’s become clearer than ever that they need to work together earlier in the buying and selling process to help reduce transaction times for customers” explains ESTAS Group founder Simon Brown.
“The 2021 awards will showcase the best property professionals for customer service whether they be agents, conveyancers or mortgage brokers. All of these play a crucial role in helping customers realise their ambition of moving home and we want to help consumers make more informed decisions about who they use” he says.
Rob Hailstone, chief executive of Bold Legal Group - as ESTAS Partner for the conveyancing sector - says: “Even before Covid-19, transactions times were getting longer and longer. With staff furloughed and redundancies on the horizon, those transactions are likely to get worse not better. Cashflow is king right now and no one gets paid until transactions are completed, so it’s essential that property lawyers and estate agents work together from day one.”
The awards event will be on Friday May 14 2021 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The announcement means that conveyancing firms have an extension until the end of 2020 to register and collect reviews via the ESTAS customer review platform.
