High-end agency reveals “shift towards digital” via management reshuffle

A raft of changes in the senior management of Strutt & Parker is being heralded as part of a “shift towards digital estate agency” by the company.

The comment comes from the historic firm’s Head of Residential Agency, Guy Robinson, announcing a raft of new changes.

Kate Eales was national lettings chief but now becomes Head of Regional Residential Agency, heading up sales and lettings for Strutt & Parker’s nationwide network of 40 regional offices operating across the UK.

Eales, who joined Strutt & Parker in 2015 from Hamptons International, has worked in the property industry for over 20 years and has a broad experience of both London and regional markets, with a particular focus on lettings.

Louis Harding is now Head of London Residential Agency, heading up both sales and lettings for Strutt & Parker’s seven estate agency offices in Prime Central London.

He has worked in the London property market for over 17 years and joined Strutts from Foxtons in 2018.

Charlotte Moxon is now Head of Regional New Homes. She began her career in property 10 years ago at LSL and has worked across the lettings, investment and new homes sectors. She joined Strutt & Parker in 2018 and now takes leadership of the Regional New Homes team.

Other changes include Matthew Sudlow becoming Head of the Estates and Farm Agency Department.

“Both Kate and Louis are great ambassadors for our business, enormously talented and very well respected within the industry. I have no doubt they will be hugely successful in their new positions” says Guy Robinson, Head of Residential Agency.

“This new organisation of our leadership team will enable us to push forward more rapidly with our strategy and ongoing projects, including the shift towards digital estate agency and the growth of our market share in London.”

Robinson adds: “Matthew and Charlotte’s new appointments are the result of long-term succession planning. These appointments are important steps for our business, designed to streamline our structure and make us more effective as a team. Crucially, they allow the next generation of talent within our business to step forward.”

From this press release anyone would think this business were a footsie 100 company.
Deck chair rearranging, we will see! The common theme is promotion of traditional bucket and spade estate agents, not very novel. Why not look at experiences from related external sectors, Fintec, Finance, Banking, It, people who know the route forward not the "same old". Lastly ditch farming and estates before its too late!!
