1st Avenue is an agency specialising in new-build in the Greenwich, Docklands and City areas of London - and as one might imagine, it’s gone the extra mile to ensure safety.

Managing director Paul Endacott tells Estate Agent Today: “Green smiley faces denote where someone can safely sit and hazard tape marks boundaries not to cross and travel paths.

“We have a learning management system that we set up during lockdown that carries all the ARLA and government guidance including videos from the World Health Organisation about how to wash your hands and take PPE off etc.

“We also invested in a Matterport camera, Zoom and Calendly so we can screen-share and do virtual viewings as if a tenant of buyer was actually there.

"Check-ins are done remotely via a key box hidden somewhere nearby and through Zoom call check-ins with tenants.

"We’re about as ready and able to help landlords and tenants as we can be without putting anyone at risk.  This is our new normal.”
