Cats and dogs for two Clarks and a Marks - more great home office pics

Independent agencies are the backbone of our industry so it’s great to be able to share images from three such experts - and, in some cases, their pets too.

Paws for thought from Sarah Parkin, a valuer and director at Peter Clark Property Services at Ferryhill in County Durham, who’s found out exactly why her cat’s taken charge of the business: “I can’t get him to take his paws off the mouse!” she says (top image).

No animals for David Clark of David Clark & Company in Cambridgeshire - instead some very stylish furniture and just a hint of bad timing: “At times like this you ask yourself why you chose this date to switch your estate agency software which resulted in two website redesigns and your property brochures?” he asks.

And his advice for the industry?

“Top tip 1: This too shall pass - but will we all in this business be changed forever? Don’t panic!

“Top tip 2: Have a plan that works if you can’t use your office and invest in IT support that does exactly that: Support.

“ Top tip 3: Learn how to make Zoom or Google Hangouts work. You get to laugh at your colleagues but you also get to keep the team spirit there even if they aren’t working.”

And we’re back to animals courtesy of Quentin Rigby of Quentin Marks, an agency operating in the Bourne and Peterborough areas. Here are his gorgeous dogs Pickle and Albert self distancing outside the temporary company headquarters…

Thanks so much to everyone for sharing these fun pictures.
