Today’s good news… the final ESTAS awards shortlist has been revealed

In these uncertain times it’s good to report positive news - ESTAS, the customer review and awards platform, has announced its final shortlist for this year’s awards.

The People Awards, sponsored for the second year running by PropTech firm PayProp, is a special category which puts the spotlight on individual staff who have consistently gone the extra mile to help clients.

Many believe this is the most prestigious category at the ESTAS as the shortlist nominates just 25 staff from a pool of 4,500 across all firms who took part in this year’s competition.

PayProp’s chief sales officer Neil Cobbold says: “This year’s shortlisted candidates come from across the property sector but one thing unites them – each is dedicated to the highest standards of customer service. Despite the growing range of technology available to agents, there will never be any replacement for local expertise and genuine commitment to the client.”

Five of those shortlisted will receive a ‘Highly Commended’ People Awards trophy.

ESTAS ambassador Phil Spencer - who will present the awards at the event itself - says: “Great customer service can only be achieved through human interaction, so The People Awards really encapsulates what ESTAS is all about.  To make the shortlist is a significant achievement for any of the final 25.”

The 2020 Awards ceremony, sponsored by Zoopla, is due to take place on Friday May 15 but given the current Coronavirus restrictions, may be postponed until the autumn – updates will be posted on Estate Agent Today as they become available.
