PropTech link-up aims to speed up transaction times

Two prominent suppliers have teamed up to offer customers instant visibility of chain lengths, details of agents connected to properties being sold, and the ability to track each transaction’s major milestones.

View My Chain - which has linked its API with DezRez - says its data has been proven to reduce fall-through rates by 20 per cent and completion times by two weeks. Now it says it offers Dezrez customers “faster commission collection and an enhanced value proposition to help them win instructions, particularly at a time when transactions are taking longer.” 

“This data solution will allow Dezrez customers to see full property chains without manually building them.  The API tracks listings, searches and mortgage applications to remove inefficiencies and speed the process up” explains Sohail Rashid, chief executive of View My Chain.

“Integrations like these will enable estate agents to access this vital information within their existing systems without the need to change process or adopt new software.  We are glad that Dezrez is an early adopter as it means that their customers will be able to benefit from this chain solution when properties are in this log jam leading up to the end of the stamp duty holiday” he adds.

VMC displays progress on sales from SSTC to completion, by bringing data from multiple sources and making it available in the VMC portal.
