Ewe interested? Hybrid aims to double in size by late 2022

High profile franchise hybrid agency EweMove has announced ambitious plans to double agent numbers within two years.

The firm - which has out-performed its traditional sister companies within The Property Franchise Group so far this year - wants to go from 120 to 180 exclusive territories by late 2021 and to double in size within the next 24 months.

The project is dubbed ‘Operation Elite Agent’.

The latest trading update from TPFG, issued in September, reported its High Street brands - Martin & Co, Ellis & Co, CJ Hole, Parkers and Whitegates - enjoyed a 25 per cent increase in sales agreed during July, lagging a little behind EweMove.

For example in July alone EweMove’s sales agreed increased by 28 to 519 and sales listings soared 36 per cent to 728, a record for the seven-year-old agency.

“The first national lockdown proved without a doubt that our model is future proof and built to succeed in the digital age. Many of our franchisees reported record months coming out of lockdown, and our board of directors have committed to investing heavily in our recruitment drive” explains EweMove’s managing director, Nick Neill.

“We’re looking for agents who are currently working as listers or negotiators and have had at least two years’ agency experience in their current roles. We also need them to have a profile within their communities that suggests they are a go-to agent. We are looking to attract the best of the best” he continues.

“If they bring the skills and ambition, we will provide the rest in terms of exceptional support, leading technology and proven systems, and PLC-backed infrastructure.”

Neill adds “a robust financial support package backs up EweMove’s ambitions to new franchisees” including eligible agents receiving income from day one to help get started and the waiving of licence and franchise fees during the first six months trading.

“The first six months are often the hardest for a new agent setting up. We believe this is the industry’s best-ever support package for ambitious agents who want to strike out and build their own franchised business” he says.

“It removes the initial financial barrier, which will allow those exceptional agents who are frustrated working for someone else to take that step towards a brighter, more prosperous and fulfilling future. As with all great offers, this can’t last forever, so any interested agents need to contact us before Christmas to avoid missing out”
