Soon-to-launch Boomin portal not just for sellers and buyers - claim

One of the latest 10 agents joining the still-to-launch Boomin portal says it could be the go-to website for all property issues - not just buying and selling.

Karl Tatler, managing director of the Karl Tatler agency on The Wirral, is one of four agents to have their testimonials issued to the media by Boomin.

Tatler says: “Boomin is different. It interacts with the customer so much better than peers, it’s artificial intelligence can suggest properties and also tempt people who are in the early stages of moving to have a valuation. It is very slick and engaging and if it becomes the ’go to’ website for property items, even when they are not in the market to buy or sell, then it will make Boomin the most powerful property portal to date.” 


Another agent endorsing the website - Mark Brooks, chief executive of Kent agency Miles & Barr - also hints at the new portal seeking to engage users not necessarily in the market.

"Having now seen how the Boomin portal is focused on customer experience as well as looking to change the whole concept of the customer journey usually associated with a property portal, we are extremely excited to be able to offer something unique to our clients having become one of the founding members” says Brooks.

Although many agents have now attended the daily webinars being hosted by Boomin founders Michael and Kenny Bruce, they are restricted in their comments by strict terms and conditions surrounding previews of the website.

Therefore comments such as those from Tatler and Brooks have been released by Boomin themselves.

Two other agents whose testimonials have been issued by the portal are Alan Bidmead, director of the 11-branch Welsh agency Bidmead Cook, and Martin Gibbon, managing director of Essex and Kent agency Balgores.

“This is not ‘just another portal’ but an innovative interactive system which we’re convinced will enhance the customer experience and at the same time generate extra income streams for our business. In our view it’s a win for the customer, and a win for us. This just may be the true and long awaited challenger to the established portals” says Bidmead. 

Meanwhile Gibbon says: “With the Bruce Brothers track record of breaking the mould in the property industry, we were intrigued to hear what Boomin was about. We were impressed with the edge it will provide us as agents and, more importantly, the experience it will provide our clients."
