Stepping back and moving out of the front line is all the rage…but not, it seems, for hard-working agents and others in our industry.
They’re already raising money in addition to working hard at the start of the year. And if you;’re in that camp too, please tell us - email email@example.com.
Now, mudguards on for our first entry this week…
Agents Giving: Agents and suppliers are applying in numbers to be the third Love Mud Challenge powered by Nuclear Races. Returning for its third year Agents Giving is challenging the industry to get muddy in aid of charity on May 17 at Brentwood, Essex.
The 2019 winners Veco by Eurolink exceeded their own expectations around the course with a winning time of two hours 15 minutes closely followed by Thomas Morris Estate Agents and Drivers & Norris.
The challenge is a 7km gritty and muddy obstacle race to test all levels of fitness so everyone can take part.
The 60-plus obstacles include the death slide, zip–lines and gorilla bars: you choose how many and which obstacles your team take on. This is tough enough to be very challenging but also achievable and great fun, the team spirit on the day is amazing.
It’s part of a family festival weekend event hosted by Nuclear Races and benefits from timing chip, hot showers, parking, refreshments and food hall, spectator areas, live music and entertainment for all ages.
Glamping is new for this year too if you fancy staying over to party the night away. The kids can also take part in the Rookie Race which also runs throughout the weekend.
Michael Stoop, chairman of Agents Giving, comments; “This highly competitive muddy challenge is returning again for another year to test the industry once more. Last year the teams from the property world went head to head tackling the challenging obstacles and they all triumphed. We look forward with excitement to 17th May. Sign your team up now and let’s get this challenge started”.
All fitness abilities can enter, minimum age to take part is 13 years old, fees are £250 per person which includes entry fees and your fundraising for Agents Giving to be completed by May 17.
Wales Air Ambulance: Over £1,200 has been presented to the Wales Air Ambulance by estate agency Morris, Marshall and Poole.
