Outsourced viewings firm Viewber now handles viewings for more than 50 per cent of all UK auctioneers.
The claim is from Essential Information Group - an online service which covers some 350 UK property auction business and includes details of 35,000 new lots annually.
David Sandeman, EIG managing director, says the outsourced service seeks to work with each auction house to handle viewings and take photographs when the company itself is unable to manage the process.
In the case of photography this could be for lots submitted close to auction deadlines and location well away from the regular auction house photographer.
“Viewber offers a flexible viewing service for an industry that works to very tight timelines with some lots being marketed for as little as two weeks prior to auction day” he says.
