Twitter, FB or Instagram: agents urged to boost social media performance

The Guild of Property Professionals is launching its second tour of 2019 with an added bonus - a free training session on social media.

Titled ‘More than just a social’, the roadshow is designed to help estate agents to pitch, protect and post like professionals.

“The importance of social media and using it effectively cannot be overemphasised. In fact, many are willing to pay thousands of pounds for social media training because they understand it has power in business. Our Guild members will have access to this type of training for free” says chief executive Iain McKenzie.

Each roadshow stop will see three elements to the day.

Pitch it - McKenzie will explain why he think’s this is the perfect market for great estate agents. He will host a session for agents to share best practice from around the UK, looking at ways agents can rise above their competition and increase market share for both sales and lettings.

Protect it - Guild compliance officer Paul Offley will examine good and bad compliance in estate agency.

Post it - a fully interactive social media workshop, providing agents with knowledge, tips and trends. The session is designed to help agents boost their business through platforms that have become essential marketing tools.

“We want our members to leave the meetings with fresh ideas and practical action points that they can use to enhance their business” says McKenzie.

At each event there will be a small number of spaces reserved for those who are not yet members but are considering joining.
