LSL Property Services’ Land & New Homes division says it’s set a record by selling 50 per cent of the units on a new development in just one weekend.
It happened at Caerlee Mill, a 44-unit development near Edinburgh, and Shaun Peart - UK managing director for LSL Land & New Homes - says: “LSL’s recent success came … because of our close working relationship with clients, Whiteburn, and the strong local land and new homes experts we have to support them.”
He says Edinburgh has a small housing stock in a growing city and therefore prices have continued to rise. New build developments in, and just outside, the city are helping those who chant afford homes within centre areas.
