The UK PropTech Association, set up in early 2017 with the objective of promoting engagement between tech business and the property industry, is relaunching itself.
Early activities included so-called ‘trade missions’ to New York and Dubai and an awards event; now it is trying to involve what it calls “the wider property industry” with a range of membership options offering collaboration opportunities and discounts for those who join.
For wider property companies, free membership provides a listing on a members’ directory, news updates, opportunities to attend more than 24 events a year and access to a members’ portal.
Gold membership - costing £5,000 per year - provides website and newsletter advertising options, sponsorship of three events per year, free tickets to events and awards, and an opportunity to collaborate on pitch events.
“There are huge potential opportunities for both PropTechs and the wider property industry through collaboration and digital transformation. Our new strategy and membership packages are designed to create a connected community, leverage the knowledge and skills of our membership and help to open up mutually beneficial partnerships” according to the association chairman, Matt Partridge.
“As a not for profit all of the membership money will go back into helping to support the UK property technology sector and to deliver increased value to our paying members” he says.
For PropTech joiners there are also two membership packages.
Free membership gives a listing on the website, news updates and opportunity to join selected events and trade missions.
Gold membership - from £999 a year - provides invitations to over 24 events a year, support with profile raising and PR, discounts on professional services and third party events, and access to investor contacts.
A new website with members’ portal is set to launch later in the month.
