Zoopla is “UK’s most comprehensive property site” with new listings

Zoopla is continuing its aggressive expansion of listings and services to agents with news this morning that it has added a large number of new homes developers and house builders to its customer base.

In a statement Zoopla calls itself “the UK’s most comprehensive property website” and pledges that “our renewed focus on the new homes industry will continue throughout 2020 as we strive to become the number one property destination for housebuilders as well as agents.”

The new homes listings are described as “major players in their regions” and join 23 of the top 25 house builders, as ranked by the Home Builders Federation, who already list on Zoopla.


The portal claims that its new homes search tool recorded a 43 per cent uplift in conversion rates for housebuilders and developers in its beta testing phase.

New signings include Weston Homes in London and the South East; Duchy Homes in the North of England; Edenstone Homes in South Wales and the South West of England; MacTaggart & Mickel in Scotland; Robertson Homes in Scotland and the North East of England; and William Davis Homes in the Midlands.

Collectively, the new homes developers will add 2,500 new homes to Zoopla each year across 60 geographical locations in the UK.

Our strategy has resulted in the acquisition of a slew of revered new homes developers, each of whom is a strong regional operator and helps to strengthen our footprint across the UK” explains Alex Rose, the portal’s director of new homes.
