A Connells’ agency brand arguably best known because of legal action by OnTheMarket is to open its 21st office.
Cheshire property consultancy Gascoigne Halman is to open in Tarporley early next year, with high profile local agent Robert Reed (pictured above) as manager.
Back in the summer of 2017 Gascoigne Halman lost its challenge to Agents Mutual’s ‘one other portal’ rule - a rule now abandoned by the portal for new members. That case was heard by the Competitions Appeals Tribunal.
Then earlier this year Gascoigne Halman also lost its appeal against the CAT ruling at the Court of Appeal.
John Halman, managing director of Gascoigne Halman, says of the new office: “Tarporley is a location that is an ideal fit for Gascoigne Halman and Robert Reed an excellent addition to our team. He is an innovative thinker, dynamic operator and knows the area backwards. His knowledge and work ethic, combined with Gascoigne Halman’s marketing techniques will be an exciting combination.”
