Independent partners with luxury agency as brand hits 'glass ceiling'

An independent agency has partnered with high-end firm Fine & Country after its own brand reached a 'glass ceiling'.

Home Truths Sales and Lettings, which launched in 2011, has partnered with the global brand to launch Fine & Country South Lancashire.

The new operation will be run by John Ascroft, Home Truths Sales and Lettings' director.

"The partnership with Fine & Country will allow us to expand our current offering and bring our excellent levels of service, detailed local knowledge and bespoke approach to new clients who will really value it," he says.

The Fine & Country South Lancashire team has four members, all of whom live in the local area.

"Our extensive knowledge of the local area and understanding the unique elements that influence the market have greatly assisted our business and clients," says Ascroft.

"It is a place I am very proud to live in as a Lancastrian and a place I very much call home."

The agent says appropriately priced properties in the area are selling quickly and that an interesting range of properties are on offer.

"You can find anything from terraces at £80,000 to properties of several million, which have attracted celebrities to the area such as Bradley Wiggins, the owner of AO, a few footballers and Peter Kaye to name but a few," Ascroft explains.

David Lindley, Fine & Country chief executive, adds: "We are very pleased to be growing the and adding agents such as John and his team to the Fine & Country network."

"As experienced property professionals with extensive local knowledge they are perfectly positioned to grow the brand in the South Lancashire area."
