“We’re satisfied the transition will move us on to our realistic short-term turnover of circa £5m with a strong asset base of three times that figure” says Ray Harwood, Centro’s chairman.

Andrew Richardson from Christies adds: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed five decades of success in the challenging yet ultimately rewarding field of residential property sales and am extremely excited at the prospect of working alongside the Centro team. I believe it is the perfect marriage of all the professional skills and resources required.”

Christies Estate Agents Limited was established in 1938, offering a comprehensive range of property services on the Surrey and South London borders, as well as Mayfair interests.

Centro PLC has been run by the Harwood family since 1990.

It has expertise in providing full residential block management and are accredited to deal with insurance matters; it is active in commercial sales, lettings and consultancy in Surrey and south London and owns a portfolio of commercial and residential investments.
