Guild and Fine & Country splash the cash on six-figure Park Lane makeover

Fine & Country and The Guild of Property Professionals are refurbishing the Park Lane showroom they share - and it’s going to cost over £100,000.

The organisations say that their Park Lane office has been a unique selling point for their members for over a decade, and is now being modernised with an emphasis on being “more modern, fresh and open space.”

The work will mean the office will be closed for around six weeks from July 16 until late August, although there will be no change in staffing arrangements as personnel are being redeployed to another London office.

The Guild and Fine & Country will share regular photos and updates of the work in progress and will also update marketing materials with professional pictures of the new office for agents to share with customers once the work is complete.

The organisations are not afraid of being seen to spend on the refurbishment despite the challenging market.

“In a conservative time in the industry, we are proud to expand and invest in a huge refurbishment of our iconic Park Lane offices. We already have one of the most prestigious addresses in the UK, and now we are going to have the interior design to match” says David Lindley, Fine & Country’s chief executive.

Meanwhile the chief executive of The Guild of Property Professionals, Iain McKenzie, says: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our members to embrace their London connection. We are hosting London property exhibitions throughout September in the newly refurbished offices, so we encourage all members to register and come down to attract London buyers and generate new business.”

There will also be formal launch events in September.
