Viewber expands offer by teaming up with keyholding service

Outsourced viewing operator Viewber is expanding its offer to agents by forming what it calls “a close technical cooperation” with keyholding service KeyNest.

Viewber has rapidly become a high-profile supplier, offering a national network of vetted people bookable to handle viewings and inspections on behalf of agencies.

Set up in 2016, Viewber recently raised £2.2m in its third fundraising round, and by last month had completed over 20,000 viewings.

KeyNest is a UK-wide network of stores where keys are held so that clients can manage access remotely by sharing their keys with a contractor or a Viewber.

Both businesses have grown rapidly as hybrid, online and high street agents increasingly service clients out of hours and increase their geographical reach.

Viewber says the tie-up provides it with a simple and reliable UK wide keyholding service, especially useful where customers don’t want a keysafe fitted, and gives KeyNest a chance to expand rapidly off the back of Viewber’s fast growing user base.

Ed Mead, co-founder and director of Viewber, says the two firms first talking over a year ago. “With both businesses now established and the synergies obvious, we look forward to making our customer’s key management and viewings/inspections easier and even more secure.’

KeyNest is already used by some high street agents to to track keys in and out of business premises.
