Crisis? What crisis? London agents' success stories defy market

High-end London chain Marsh & Parsons, part of the LSL Property Services empire, has opened in 30th office in Chiswick.

“Chiswick’s wonderful heritage and community feel are synonymous with our values and brand” says David Hill, sales manager at the new office.

“Marsh & Parsons is already a well-recognised and reputable name in the area, due to the success of our surrounding offices, so opening in Chiswick made perfect sense” he adds.

Marsh & Parsons operates an open-network register meaning that home owners in Chiswick will benefit from exposure to a substantial number of buyers and tenants registered in neighbouring offices, whose requirements match their property.

The company is offering local owners a zero per cent fee on the sale of their property to mark the launch, subject to terms and conditions.

In addition to Hill - a local resident for 15 years - managing the sales side, the lettings team is managed by Kate McArdle.

The new branch comes as a series of reports, most recently one by Knight Frank, highlighting the difficult sales market in much of London.

Meanwhile prime London agency Pastor Real Estate has enjoyed a very productive fortnight, securing six new instructions valued at around £23m across its Mayfair and Chelsea offices since the start of May.
