Guild launches roadshow with aim to bolster independent agencies

The Guild of Property Professionals has launched a series of regional roadshows with a target of enhancing the success of independent estate agency businesses.

This week’s shows are at Surrey, London and Cambridge with others later this month in Exeter, Southampton, Bristol, Birmingham, Lincoln, Haydock, Yorkshire and Newcastle.

The roadshows are named ‘Who Dares Wins’ and the Guild says it aims to make sure agents “Thrive, Not Survive, in 2018”.

Each roadshow event includes a market update including local data, an update on new Guild products, a compliance session with ID capture and verification platform Credas, plus advice on anti-money laundering and GDPR.

There will also be a contribution from Rayner Personnel, while Simon Brown from The ESTAS will talk about the importance of good customer service and the impact that winning an ESTA can have.

There will also be two training sessions - the first is on sales-chasing and the other on social media.

Guild chief executive Iain McKenzie will host all 11 of the events.
