Winkworth opens two out-of-London branches with new franchisees

Franchise giant Winkworth, which opened seven new branches in 2017, has announced two new office openings this month.

They are at Banstead in Surrey and Poringland in Norfolk.

Banstead is jointly owned by Andrew Booker and Richard Ward, both new franchisees. Winkworth says that having worked in the industry and the area for over 30 years between them, they decided to capitalise on their knowledge of the local market and set up their own business

Poringland is fully owned by Jamie Moore, another new franchisee to the business. He has more than 10 years’ experience as an estate agent in the local area, having worked his way through the ranks at other well-established property businesses.

Both offices will offer residential sales and lettings services.

“These new locations will help us to tap into new areas of the market, enabling us to reach and serve new customers, as well as providing more options and a better service for our existing client base” explains Dominic Agace, Winkworth’s chief executive.

“We’re looking to expand in some key areas, but are always open to considering other areas as well and we’d love to have an initial, confidential conversation with anyone who’s interested and would like to know more” he adds.
