TV ad campaign to emphasise online agency's 'full service' for sellers

House Network, which describes itself as the UK’s first online estate agency, is using TV advertising to promote a new "20-point customer promise”.

The agency started in 2004 “to provide a fixed price for selling a house with full support and back-up.” This involves undertaking valuations as well as vetting those who request viewings.

The firm says that at each stage sellers are managed by a dedicated relationship manager.

Now selected ITV regions are this month seeing four different advertisements for the agency, lasting 30 to 60 seconds each and produced by Minimart.

“This new campaign marks the launch of our 20-point customer promise.  We have achieved a 97.1 per cent rating over a 14 year period from clients who say that they will recommend House Network” says the agency’s chief executive Mark Readings.

“From the day we started the firm we realised that customer service is everything, which is why we will always honour the promises we make to our customers and give them the services they are looking for” he adds.

A spokesman for Minimart says: “We are all now pretty aware of being able to save money by using online estate agents, but many home sellers stick with the traditional high street option because they are concerned that the online model lacks the all-important human customer service. The new strap line ‘Sworn to Sell’ has also been introduced which reflects the commitment they are making to sell houses in the right way.”
