Your Christmas pics ... and after Brexit, the Queen is at the Bar

Hello again and with just two working days before Christmas, there’s no stopping us yet on your festive photos - a big thank you for the record response this year.

We’ve got more of them today and still more on Christmas Eve - the final EAT before Christmas, of course.

First off today is a very topical card from the team at STANLEY Chelsea…and it’s topical not just because it’s festive, but because it’s (wait for it) Brexit-themed.

The subject is probably banned from many Christmas lunch tables this year but STANLEY’s card tackles it head on. There’s not a back-stop in sight as the card eatures well-known Brexit figures from Anna Soubry to Big Bad Boris and, to add a little traditional Yuletide Dickensian flavour, Jacob Rees-Mogg.

Thanks so much to the team there for including us in on the fun…

And then we come to another festive favourite…the Queen. Or, more precisely, Queen as in the band.

All 11 branches of Linley & Simpson snapped into festive action, alongside its head office teams, to raise money for children’s hospice, Martin House, its charity partner.

We have some pictures below of the good folk in action, courtesy of our regular correspondent Richard Chew.

Joint winners were the Freddie Mercury wannabes working in its Ripon-based Land and New Homes department with “The Queen’s Speech”.

They tied with the Horsforth, Leeds, branch whose entry is too risqué for a family publication! But we can show you the runners-up who were the Client Accounts team, unwrapping their tasty Selection Box entry.

All entries have been shared on social media with the company pledging £1 to Martin House for every “like” received up until Christmas Eve - so please get liking!

Our final pictures of the year will be on Monday - that's Christmas Eve of course - and they’re definitely worth seeing…so please check in then.

Until Monday…
