'Co-Marketing' - two more agencies agree to list properties jointly

A sales and lettings agency specialising in waterside property along the Thames is linking up with a larger business to co-market homes on sale.

Waterview, which has been in business for 25 years, says it is in “an exclusive partnership” with London chain Dexters for ”co-marketing properties for sale and rental.”

The two brands are reported to have had financial links in the past but have not co-marketed properties.

This deal allows Waterview to increase the patch it covers to the entire length of the Thames in London and gives it 26 Thames-side locations.

Waterview, which says 2018 has been its strongest year, will also be relaunching its website.

“Our own research shows that properties with a view and/or access to the river command a 24 per cent premium compared to similar local properties for sale away from the river” explains Waterview director Soren Ravaux.

Earlier this month Estate Agent Today reported on two out-of-London agencies that had also struck a co-marketing deal.

Established agency Castle Estates and new entrant Suffolk Coastal Estate Agents are combining the marketing of properties in the Suffolk town of Orford.

Suffolk Coastal will be marketing on Rightmove and OnTheMarket and Castle Estates will be marketing on Zoopla and PrimeLocation.

This is not news. Dexters own Waterview and have always owned them. It is the same company but with different branding.

Clever, they get to advertise on all three portals without the extra cost.
