Chocolate Theatre Company: The Swindon office of the Mortgage Advice Bureau Swindon is gearing up to take centre stage in a pre-Christmas, family-friendly production of The Addams Family Musical.

It’s at Swindon Arts Theatre from November 28 to December 1 and the show is directed by Adam Holman, a mortgage assistant at the company. Meanwhile Katie Tilling, another mortgage assistant and protection adviser, will be treading the boards.

Jeremy Morcumb of Mortgage Advice Bureau Swindon says: “I’m so proud of my team for showing there’s far more to life than just showing up for work every day. It’s so important to us to support local organisations and the arts.”

You can book tickets for the show here.

Fine & Country Foundation: Wesley Barnard, a member of the PR team for Fine & Country, was one of 1,000 people in the Centrepoint Sleep Out in Greenwich, London.

“After checking in, I was shown my sleeping spot for the night: a paper bag in a large, basic and draughty tent designed to keep the rain off but not much else. While the draughty marquee and paper sleeping bag provides some protection from the wind and rain, they offer little protection from the cold that makes its way up through the ground you are sleeping on” he says.

Sleep Outs are held on a weekday for a reason. Participants face going to work the next day and carry out our usual tasks, meetings and duties – or at least try.

The total raised by all the participants by the end of the night was £463,827 – to support Wesley Barnard, please visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/wesley-barnard.

Help The Homeless: Beercocks agency has teamed up with some great local companies to Help The Homeless people of Hull this Christmas.

All 10 of its branches will be drop off points for any tinned food, tea bags, winter jackets and other items.

The agency’s team will also be going around Hull handing out donated winter clothing as well as fresh soup, tea and coffee.

If you would like to join in on any Monday in December, meet at Riverhouse Coffee Co. on Scale Lane at 6pm, starting on the 3rd December.

Agents Giving Ball: Finally this week, if you haven’t won tickets for the ball being donated by the lovely people at Agents Giving, how about digging deep for the fantastic work they do.

Tickets are selling fast for the Charity Christmas ball supported by The Tenant Shop on December 7 at The Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel London.

Peter Knight, chairman of Agents Giving, says: “Following the success of two years of Strictly Agents Dancing we are very excited about Agents Got Talent this year and are confident the acts will give it their absolute best. It’s such a great line up and we look forward to seeing all the acts perform on the evening.  Come along and support your incredibly brave colleagues in this very first Agents Got talent competition, it will be a night to remember”.

One of the brave talent acts is Kristjan Byfield of Base Property Specialist Ltd, and a chum of all of us on Estate Agent Today.

He says: “It's not often that we, as an industry, get to stand united for the greater good. Agents Giving do just that and to help contribute to some great clauses whilst also celebrating another year elapsed in our industry- in what has been a very challenging year for so many of us. I look forward to what should be a fun night but am equally terrified to sing in front of so many of our industry's great & good- but I've always said that if something doesn't scare you it's probably no worth doing!”

Tickets are selling at £1,600 per table of 10 or £175 per individual ticket. So book your tickets today.  As well as celebrating the industry’s fundraising efforts the ball is a fantastic place to have your Christmas party and kick start the festivities.
