An estate agent charged has been charged with the murder of his wife who was stabbed to death at their home on New Year’s Day.
Local media report that David Clark of Bromsgrove appeared before judge Robert Juckes QC at Worcester crown court yesterday.
Clark, 49, is accused of killing 44 year old Melanie Clark, who was pronounced dead at 12.12am on New Year’s Day after suffering a knife attack.
Michael Conry, prosecuting, described it as a ‘domestic murder’ and said it involved a stab wound.
Clark did not enter a plea.
The trial is expected to take place in June.
