Fine & Country is to allow interior designers to operate under its brand name.
Fine & Country Interior Design will be run by Alice Barrington-Wells and Grant Pierrus, joint chief executives at a marketing agency called Pierrus & Wells.
Interior designers who are allowed to use the brand will be vetted and must match quality and professionalism criteria established by Fine & Country.
It is a unique set up which will allow Fine & Country agents to tell their customers about the range of designers that can help with home staging ahead of a sale, and re-decorating to complete turnkey refurbishments of their properties.
The designers will not be restricted to Fine & Country properties and will be able to help anyone in need of an interior designer anywhere in the world.
A statement issued in the names of Barrington-Wells and Pierrus describes the arrangement as “a ground-breaking relationship between the property sector and the interior design sector.”
“By building this network of professional interior designers it gives developers, investors and home owners the confidence to ensure that when you're working with an interior designer, you're working with someone who understands design and the property world too” the statement says.
