Guild of Property Professionals launches partnership with The ESTAS

The Guild of Property Professionals has launched a partnership with the ESTAS Group, which runs the customer feedback platform and customer service awards scheme for the property industry.

The partnership will see the ESTAS and the Guild collaborating on initiatives focussing on recognising excellence in the agency sector.

Initially the partnership will see cross-promotion and exclusive subscription offers.

The ESTAS will also introduce a new award category which will be presented to the best performing Guild member at next April’s ESTAS Awards ceremony.

The announcement follows a similar partnership between The ESTAS and international rating and review operator Feefo.

“This announcement signifies the determination of The Guild of Property Professionals and the ESTAS to further the reputation of the property industry to the consumer - an obvious but very strong alliance that our members will be proud of and benefit from” says Iain McKenzie CEO at The Guild.

ESTAS founder Simon Brown says: “There’s a lot of synergy between our two organisations and we’re both committed to highlighting excellent customer service in the property sector.”

Entries for The ESTAS Customer Service Awards are now open and the 15th annual ESTAS ceremony - sponsored by Zoopla Property Group and with the involvement of other industry players including Angels Media, publisher of Estate Agent Today - will take place on April 20 at The Grosvenor House in London.

The awards recognise the best firms for customer service including agents, conveyancers, mortgage brokers and suppliers.  The results are based purely on feedback from customers. For more information see www.theestas.com.

Meanwhile the Guild has also announced a roadshow during the autumn to discuss compliance and allow networking.

The roadshows began yesterday in Exeter and will continue in Kent, London, Cambridge, Birmingham, Lincoln, Manchester, York, and Newcastle.

Paul Offley, compliance officer for The Guild, will instruct agents on best practices for Data Protection and review the latest Money Laundering Regulations after the launch of the Guild’s anti-money laundering service in July. PropTech and feedback firms Goodlord, Feefo, and Reapit will all feature as sponsors of the roadshows.

“Se are very excited about this opportunity to once again speak to agents about enhancing income whilst delivering advice on compliance procedures to protect their businesses. The expertise of our members is our lifeblood, so we want to do everything we can to ensure that they’re engaging in best practice in these critical areas” says Iain McKenzie.
