Agents Do Charity - the first-mention-of-the-C-word edition

Now we hate to spoil a long weekend but for much of the UK this is the final Bank Holiday before... wait for it.... Christmas.

Before we all make the best of this end-of-summer celebration, let’s pay tribute to agents and others in our industry who have done their bit to remember others less fortunate.

Everyone here has let us know at press@estateagenttoday.co.uk - please do the same and we’d be delighted to promote your fundraising and charitable work.

In the meantime, here are this week’s heroes - and have a great Bank Holiday weekend.

Maggs Day Centre: On September 23 a two course lunch with prosecco and a fashion show will be held by the Fine & Country Foundation at Grafton Manor Hotel, Bromsgrove.

Clothing and raffle tickets will be available to purchase throughout the event. There will be ten raffle prizes available, including fascinators and afternoon tea.

The Fine & Country Foundation will be donating all proceeds to Maggs Day Centre, a local homeless charity in Worcester specialises in the first steps of helping people get off the streets for good; supplying food and shelter, health check-ups, life skills and mentoring.

An essential part of this is providing those in need with clean and dry clothes, as well as outfits suitable for job interviews. For this reason, any clothing and items which are not sold on the day of the ladies lunch and fashion show will be donated to Maggs Day Centre.

For more information and to purchase your tickets, please contact Vanessa Bradford at vanessa.bradford@fineandcountry.com or call 07967 046 051.
