Agents Do Charity - from Muse to Dog Shows...

As we head into August there’s no let up on your fantastic efforts for charity - thank you!

Everyone below has let us know by emailing press@estateagenttoday.co.uk and we’ve been only too happy to publicise efforts and push for a few more contributions on their behalf.

Agents are starting well-deserved summer breaks now - but keep those stories and fund-raising events coming...

-

Horton and Garton estate agency: Directors John Horton and Paul Cooney have made a lasting commitment to their west London community: sell, let or manage a property through the firm and it will write a cheque for 10 per cent of the profit from the fee to a registered charity of the client’s choice, up to the value of £1,000.

Horton and Garton is an independent West London estate agency with offices in King Street, Hammersmith and Turnham Green Terrace, Chiswick.

Fine & Country Foundation: On August 19 of the world’s most successful rock bands is taking over the O2 Shepherd’s Bush for an exclusive charity concert. Fine & Country Foundation has two seated tickets to auction to the public.

The concert is in aid of The Passage, London’s largest homeless resource centre. Each day they help up to 200 homeless or vulnerable people to rebuild and repair their lives.

The Fine & Country Foundation has teamed up with The Passage to auction off two tickets for the Muse charity concert. The bidding system will go live on www.fineandcountryfoundation.com at 8am on Friday August 11 and will close at 5pm on the same day. The highest bid will be displayed on the website and will be updated every 30 seconds. Email foundation@fineandcountry.com within the specified time and enter the subject line as ‘Muse’ and write your bid for both tickets. All proceeds will be donated to The Passage.

St Mungo’s: Chestertons has raised over £3,000 at its annual charity golf day in support of its nominated homelessness charity, St Mungo's.

This year, over 40 players, which included Chestertons' staff, clients and suppliers, attended Malden Golf Club in New Malden to take part and help beat last year's total of £2,500. Competitions were held for the highest team score, highest individual score, longest drive and nearest the pin.

Chestertons would like to thank its golf day sponsors: Rightmove, Prodec, Positive Images, Reapit, Salesforce, Ravensworth and Springtide.

Hope Pastures: Manning Stainton was delighted to support the annual fundraising summer dog show at Hope Pastures, the equine sanctuary near Adel.

The Adel branch of the area’s leading estate agent sponsored two classes at the popular event including ‘Most Appealing Eyes’ which was won by Lawrence, an adorable 14 month old basset hound!

Hope Pastures rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes horses, ponies and donkeys.
