Online estate agency to sell vendors' homes for just £25

A new online estate agency is offering vendors a sales package for just £24.99.

MoveSelf, which is based in Manchester, allows vendors to list with it for £24.99 for a one-month minimum term.

The three-month contract drops to £19.99 per month, while it charges £14.99 for a six-month term and £9.99 for a 12-month contract.

The pricing model, which MoveSelf describes as 'pay as you go', includes advertising with Zoopla and PrimeLocation.

Vendors are required to complete their own listings, although MoveSelf says it does review for inaccurate information and spelling mistakes.

The agent is currently running a promotion offering ten prospective sellers the opportunity to list on Zoopla and PrimeLocation for free for three months.

The firm was founded by Kae Travis, an IT and software consultant.

Travis says he wants to bring his background of writing industry standard code to automate processes to the property industry. 

He says automation and streamlined processes can help agents to reduce costs and pass savings on to consumers.

"Our pay as you go pricing plans are shaking up the status quo for the property industry,” Travis tells Estate Agent Today. 

“We believe that vendors and landlords should only pay for the time they advertise their property for.”  

“Offers, viewings and real-time tracking can then be carried out for free using our slick and intuitive property management platform.” 

He says his firm is not charging commission as it wants to offer a pricing model that bears ‘no relationship’ to the value of the property.  

MoveSelf does not currently have any property listings on Zoopla, although it has only launched this month.
