Firm sees large demand for 'digital platform' to compete with hybrids

A company which last month launched a service which it claims allows High Street estate agents to compete with online and hybrid agencies says it has seen “a huge surge in demand.”

Last month we reported that Hystreet was launching a white-labelled online estate agent platform, in return for a monthly fee, and allowing a traditional full service operator to offer  valuations and viewings booked online, and also allowing customers to make offers, provide feedback, negotiate a sale, and communicate with their dedicated agent online.

It was created by former estate agent Awais Ahmad after seeing High Street firms losing business to disrupter agencies.

“I am really pleased to see the quick adoption of our platform by high street estate agents. When building this solution, my dream was to allow high street agents such as myself to access to great technology without spending a fortune attempting to build their own platforms” he says.

He says demand has been strong from what he describes as “franchisees and local experts” of existing online estate agencies as well, who want to offer a more hybrid approach involving on-the-spot agent advice as well as digital services.

Hystreet says it is working on integrations with existing CRMs and other software.

Sorry, but isn't that why we have telephones?

24-7 being tied to phones isn't the best use of an agents time, when agents realise this they may be able to stop losing market share to onliners.
