Agency insists there's space for digital and traditional operators

A firm that offers online, hybrid and traditional estate and lettings agency services says the digital side of its business is “blooming” - but that there’s also strong demand for conventional sales and rental methods, too.

West Midlands-based iLove Homes says that its business has grown significantly since opening an office in Walsall in 2014 with much of its trade now consisting of repeat clients. However, having an online service too has meant it can deal with properties across the Midlands and the rest of the UK.

“Although we’ve incorporated a digital estate agency service to our business, it’s important for agents to remember that buyers and sellers want a quality service from an experienced and knowledgeable team” explains Andrew Thomas, iLove’s director.

“What people are paying for when they use the services of an estate agent is an agency’s knowledge and experience in evaluating the right price at which to pitch their home, and then controlling the sale from start to finish. They are also paying for access to the market through your contacts and marketing capabilities” says Thomas.

“A good agent will play a very important part in managing the sales process. There is no substitute for using a trained negotiator. Agents know the value of patience and not losing sight of the objective. It is always in an agent’s interest to get the very best price for a property.”

What makes them more "digital"/"online" or "hybrid" than any other agent on Rightmove etc? I can't see anything on their website that other agents don't offer.. just an online valuation tool.. this seems more of a boost to this agency's profile than news item??
