A housing association which for over two years has operated its own estate agency now wants similar organisations to join up under a franchise arrangement.
Two Rivers Housing created the TwoCan estate agency in 2015: since that time it has sold some its own properties, and some from other registered social housing providers. It has also sold a small number of private individuals’ homes as a conventional agency would.
“We are owned by Two Rivers Housing charity and every penny we make in profit is gifted to support its work – investing in homes to rent at affordable prices and building strong communities. We call this ‘profit for purpose’ and it means that, between us, we can indirectly help to improve the lives of others” TwoCan says on its website.
