LSL's 500 agency branches sign up to ZPG for another five years

LSL Property Services - which has high street brands including Your Move, Reeds Rains and Marsh & Parsons - has signed up to advertise its inventory on Zoopla and PrimeLocation for the next five years.

The arrangements with LSL is the latest of a series of high-profile deals announced by ZPG in recent weeks. Connells and Countrywide have also signed long-term deals with ZPG this autumn.

The portal group says it has now seen over 1,000 agency branches return to its fold over the past two-and-three-quarter years since the launch of OnTheMarket, which at one time was considered a threat to Zoopla’s position.

Earlier this month ZPG also signed up a 15-branch Home Counties agency, Henry Adam - which at the time said the portal group offered “a compelling proposition for anyone who is serious about selling” - but the future of this specific deal is unknown following a reported threat of legal action from OnTheMarket.

Ian Crabb, group chief executive of LSL, says of the new deal it has signed: “We are happy to have agreed a long term extension of our existing relationship with ZPG. We have worked closely with the team at ZPG for a number of years and they continue to deliver a great service to our brands and customers.”

Alex Chesterman, ZPG’s founder and chief executive, says: “LSL are an important customer for ZPG and we are delighted to be extending our relationship with them for the long term. We look forward to continuing to ensure that LSL’s brands and customers get the best exposure for their properties and LSL has access to the most effective services in the market.”

ZPG releases its next set of figures to shareholders and the City tomorrow morning, and they will be on Estate Agent Today from shortly after 7am tomorrow.

OTM Float is likely to be announced soon, my question is about the quality of the money it will attract.
